what exactly is emo fashion anyways, i mean i know it means emotional, but i meant what is their fashion? it looks to me like anime fashion or a gothic person whose bit more stylish and colorful. i mean its weird to me they look like skaters, punk rocker types, and various others. its like they dont have one concept or maybe its just me. idk its like i can spot an emo person when i see one but for some reason i dont know why i know their emo.

I don't think the fashion is called emo, because the original emo movement (in the culture/music) the people didn't dress a certain way. It's more scene, and most of those scene kids happen to listen to this neo-emo crap which is a watered down version of the original "Emo" bands.

Yes, emo is a music genre. Think it started from sub-punk, but people think emo means emotional (or emotional unstable -_-) it's not, it's a music genre and it's not alllll about suicide and cutting self. it's really silly.

for me, EMO fashion is basically people who are into punk fashion but buy commercial/name brand merchandised clothes instead of being original. Such as shopping for torn up shirts and tube sock gloves at hot topic instead of fu-king making that $hit yourself. Also, they're more into their hair being long and neat.

I've actually thought some of the guys were girls and hit on 'em.

I used to find emo girls attractive and would go out of my way to be nice and talk to them but they get kind of weird on you after a while.
