Besides the term Asian is only connotes a geographic location. Would you lump in Israelis, Persians, Mongolians, Saudis, Indians, Malaysians, Chinese, Melanese, and New Guinians, all in the same race when they are clearly different from each other?
Race in Asia is more complex than Race in America which only has 4 or 5 groupings.
