I just got the feeling that Japanese and Koreans hate each other. Also, someone said something like this to me. Any truth to it?

The Japanese hate us because in history, the Koreans brought everything to Japan, the Japanese are a subrace of Koreans. Koreans hat Japanese because they invaded and occupied our land.

.........anways, Much of the animosity dates back to the Japanese occupation/rule in Korea and their policies of forced labor, comfort women, and cultural assimilation etc. Things like Wokou and Imjin war are also major details on the historical hatred. Not to sound biased but its pretty much all of Japans fault. Alot of the modern day crap is just nationalism and insecurity on both "sides"

I dont see a reason why japanese people would have hatred against koreans. Koreans didnt do shiieeet to japan. ON THE OTHER HAND, japan has done some pretty mean things to korea or tried to for centuries. very cruel. so from the korean perspective, its obvious for many koreans to have hatred against japan. history itself is plenty of reasons why
if a korean dude says that he hates japan, i dont have to ask why cuz its obvious. But if a japanese person says they hate koreans, then i would be like why??? what did koreans do? thats where i ask questions cuz i just dont see a reason why japan would hate koreans.
i just know that japan sees themselves the same way they did back in the past. they think they are much more superior than the korea. they see koreans as way inferior compared to them. like they do in sport events. they always talk really lowly of koreans. and sometimes say things that are rude, which i really dont get. it should be the koreans, who had to deal with japan throughout history, talking smack about japan in those sport events. but koreans are polite enough to not say anything. and its funny when japan loses to the 'inferior' country
im not saying i hate japan or anything. i love japan myself. but when it comes to serious things, it can be a little different. if other people make fun of koreans, i'll get mad, but i'll be passive about it. but if a japanese person says something, i think i'll go off on'em. i just dont think japanese people dont deserve at all to say anything about koreans due to history. i just feel that way, kind of like how blacks might feel about whites
BUT THATS JUST ME

no Japanese on this forum so you'll have a hard time getting an answer from the Japanese side.

But dude, if you get all judgmental and "God you people are monsters" on another people, they're going to be pissed off and offended. They'll tell you to give it a rest and to stop being naggy.
I mean honestly, if someone criticizes you (legitimate or not), are you supposed to give them hugs and tell them how much they're right, and how much they're wrong?
It's a backlash effect. You get pissed at someone, they're gonna get pissed at you.
And also, Japan hasn't developed its Political Correctness, so it's perfectly cool to look down on less industrialized countries.
