How many of them are "indios"?

Who cares? Many of them are more Filipino than many Filipinos who treat their fellow kababayan snobbishly.
bananaque

Where is the 2008 list?

I find it hard to believe that the traditionally wealthy Pinoy families like Soriano, Elizalde, Madrigal, Ortigas, Areneta and so on are not in the top 40. Ofcourse you have to wonder about the disclosure that a few elite families prefer to keep secret.

It's even harder to believe that Imelda Marcos is not there! The interest recieved from the Swiss Banks could eclipse more than 3/4's of that list.
martin_nuke
That is why the billions of the Marcos is in Switzerland because it is suppose to be a secret account.

During the Marcos regime, Forbes Magazine had the list of the top 40 richest people in the world. And in the bottom was something like

Estimated worth unknown, possibly part of the top 40

$XXX Billion - President Marcos of the Philippines
$XXX Billion - President Suharto of Indonesia
$XXX Billion - Pablo Escobar of the Colombian Drug Cartel

Spanish Filipino families such as the Sorianos, Elizaldes, Madrigals, Ortigases, Aranetas, etc. have been eclipsed by Chinese Filipinos. The Forbes List does not include Third World ruling families, only legitimate businessmen.

Put your agenda on the side for a second.

The lowest on that list is worth only $30 mil which Andres Soriano could've made in his sleep! All i'm trying to say that the list is not entirely accurate and many of the prominent families are still well and truly at the top of Filipino business but do not want to stand out.

I find that last sentence abit offending, so I will not respond...

Andres Soriano III? Last time I heard, he got kicked out of San Miguel Corporation which his father headed...His replacement? Eduardo Cojuangco, Jr.

You keep missing my point.

But carry on with your Chinese Filipino propoganda...

what are the biggest Filipino businesses in term of revenues ?
martin_nuke
Eduardo Cojuangco, Jr. is the most evil man in Philippine History because he looted the money of Filipinos in UCPB and he even killed his cousin Ninoy Aquino.

I could think of far worse.
