has any one out there wonder why with all the film classifications, we still get to watch movies that are censored? i guess it only happens in this place and also did you realise that the dvd or cd version can be released with no cuts and passed for retail? sometimes ireally wonder who are the people working in the censor board and how does one deem material suitable or not
Because Singapore is a dictatorship and that's what most dictatorial governments do, restricting the access of information.
DVD and CDS can be released uncut because businessmen make money out of that. The censorship board has no control over it YET. If the govenment enforces law more strictly, they will be banned as well. Just watch out.
