i grew up in western society and i used to think i'm pretty westernised and people say i am but when you compare western to eastern culture, western culture is pretty bland and lacklustre.
i appreciate and probably prefer eastern cultures, much richer.
richer? hmmm... materially speaking, the western culture is richer
do u mean spiritual or culturally speaking, the asian culture is more varied and different and hence richer??

Your organisation of social values influence your perspective.
No doubt values are pretty universal, the stacking order are quite different between east and west.
fundamentally, i actually don't see that much difference between easternization and westernization...... really, at the end of the day, u think there is a difference but it's just appearances.... people's instinctual beliefs and actions are still fundamentally the same, whether you are English educated or asian educated.. I dunno about middle eastern educated tho...
