Actually it's not but I don't think there are any more recent stats than 2003.
Marriage stats for Japan show that Japanese men that go for non-Japanese nationals still go for those of an asian nationality with Korean nationals 3rd most popular with 5,318 Jguy Kgirl marriages in 2003. Japanese women that go for non-Japanese nationals go for those of American nationality first with Korean nationals 2nd most popular but with 2,235 Jgirl Kguy marriages in 2003. Now obviously those with American nationality aren't necessarily non asian and some of the K and J nationals might not be Japanese or Korean by ethnicity but these are the most specific stats available as far as I know.
Overall Japanese men marry non-Japanese nationals more than Japanese women do, over three times more in 2003.

Just an opinion but, most Asians are with other Asians; interracial relationships amongst Asian people only make up a small fraction of the whole.
