I don't know why I can't stop watching it(Maybe because I love Chiaki Kuriyama so much heh) but, I just truely love this movie.
Wish it would come to the US, but the maker of it has his reasons not to let it be sold here..

I heard the second wasn't as good, but I still wanna see it..it would be nice if I can find a bit torrent for it that has subtitles..x.x

BRII was stupid and ruined it all. @@@Kinda a spolier here@@@ How the main guy dogded all those missles or rockets that were flying at him is to unreal even if it's a movie. Unless its a movie where people have super powers -_-... But the first was pretty dam good. Ichi the killer was werid..I didnt get the point of the movie, but to most of my friends they thought is was really nasty/scarry. The girls that saw it with me thought it was wrong because of what that guy was doing to his wife..and how ichi just..errr..dont really want to say what he did. But i think everyone should watch it. Some sceens made me not want to looks but i had to

When Beat Takashi gets shot a million times.... and his cell phone rings.... and he gets back up like ntohign happens.... answers it... shoots his phoine.... eats the last cookie.... and dies..... truly ruined a great experience of the movie. But hey, other than that, BR1 was killer

Haven't seen BRII, but saw BRI through recommendation by a friend, and yes, it is a true cult classic. Ridiculous backdrop, but the students' display of realistic thoughts and emotions in the face of life and death was very believable and well delivered.

this seems tempting, but i don't think it wound be as good as any of those american one right?

Yes BR1 was a smasher! everyone who has seen it loved it! with the second part i can't tell exactly if i like him or not! but if you don't compare it to the genious first one its a good warmovie flic! with a bit overacting like we had in the 80ies in the HK cinema! but its an entertaining movie with some real nice gory effects!

and ichi, its a weird movie, but great effects and great actors!! sure its a bit sick, but hei its just entertainment and btw i think visitor Q is sicker then this one! but thats miike!

Stop Hold Press! Battle Royale 2 isn't that bad...!

It starts off like the original but goes on to develop its own unique storyline,
instead of killing each other - those unlucky to be partaking are forced to fight Wild Seven.

Tatsuya Fujiwara dropped some of his melodramatic style and performs well as new age terrorist, Shugo Oshinari proves to be an able understudy and Riki Takeuchi is excellent as their teacher. There are also brief cameo roles for BR 1 stars Beat Takeshi and ( ) Aki Maeda...

It may lack the shock factor of the first film, despite having some particularly grusome parts, but Battle Royale 2 is nevertheless an enjoyable film.

Yup, Visitor Q is a pretty fun movie. I love that bathtub/hothouse scene.. those who've seen it know what I mean

Kill Bill was good. Battle Royale was good (and judging by your comments I don't think I should watch #2). I've watched Ichi like 10 times (no I'm not that sick). It's a great movie.
