i thought it would be somewhere in control panels but cant find it...

or
Start>Run>type 'Dxdiag'>OK>Display Tab

I think you can also try msinfo32 command at run & check out whole lot of things

As above...You can usually find out the make of the card that way but it won't give you detailed information on the model

Type in ''Free System information software '' into google...Theres some free apps out there that work on pretty much any system that you install and it will give you detailed info on most of the hardware you have in your pc.

1). Right click on your Desktop and click "Properties".

2). A window called "Display Properties" will pop up.

3). Click on the "Settings" tab and then click the "Advanced" Button.

4). Click on the "Adapter" tab, there you'll find out what kind VC you have.
