Does anyone have any pics of Sarita Choudhury (she was in "Kama Sutra: Tale of Love," "Mississippi Masala," and "High Art"...). I think she's really beautiful, or was in the '90s since I haven't seen much of her since. But I can't find any pics of her except thumbnail size ones or really unflattering ones.

yeah... did u know she was buried in a sari? back in the old days of hollywood she had a "nanny" that was indian that actually turned out to be her mom. the michael korda book Queenie was based on her life.

^Yeah, I know. I hated that book, though. But, yeah, back then it would have been hard for her to get to be as big a star as she was in the West if people knew.

oh yeah, it damn near ruined her career with all the speculation. i mean she was trying to pass for white. over time, i guess people eventually found her out but by that time it was the 1960's & hollywood didnt care. plus she was a lot older then & her star appeal wasnt as big anymore as it was in the 1930's when she first came out.

imagine.. passing for white in racist 1930's hollywood. poor thing mustve lived in FEAR.
