im more interested in what the dragon and bear means to the hmong culture. i believe in most major heritages/religions the dragon(serpent) is a big part as the head symbol. concerning more of asian/hmong culture, i believe the dragon is often used in folktale and ceremonials singing like weddings used as the groom(dragon) and bride(phoenix). in the hmong culture it is mention during jingle bell passing through the after world through seas and mountains where dragons roam free. now about the bear, does it have any significant meanings? i believe dreaming about a bear will bring you bad luck but is there a positive?

I don't know and where you get all that info from? But to tell you the truth, none other than just symbols or clan signs.

the dragon is a very important creature in our culture. in traditional beliefs as well as religious rituals, sometimes dragons are mentioned.
bear? I don't know much about bear, but tiger. The tiger is very important as well. Almost every Hmong stories growing up have tigers, even some Hmong clans are known as descendants of TIGER, like mine.
