I'm putting together an online forum that focuses on Filipino philantrophy. It was originally intended as a back-up online home for the Timawa Donation Group. Last month, our main forum, Timawa.net, ran into technical difficulties that killed it for a couple of weeks. The outage put a dampener on ongoing projects, so we put up a second board.
Now that its up . . . we figured we might as well give it its own character . . . separate from the martial nature of the original forum. Since it was created to support a philantrophic endeavor, it made perfect sense to make the rest of the forum focus on efforts to help people back home.
The expanded board seeks to:
-> Provide a convenient way for overseas Filipinos to find causes to support
-> Share lessons-learned in the fine art of philantrophy
-> Brainstorm about opportunities to help
