When looking around south East Asia, Chinese pretty much every where:

Singapore: 77% Chinese
Thailand: 9 millions chinese
Malaysia: 6 millions chinese
Brunei: 11 % Chinese

doesn't mean China can engulf the whole SEA

If they could, they would have done it 1000 years. Fact is China couldn't hold North Vietnam and because of that it'll never be able to conquer the rest of SEA.

the last time I checked Vietnam is still an independent nation from China China has tried to reconquer Vietnam over the past millennium but we're still standing here, not being absorbed by China. You must be dreaming if you wish China would one day conquer Vietnam.
