i don't have an english name but different ppl pronounce my name differently.
(american pronunciation) --cheng
(hmong/family pronunciation) --chia
(actual pronunciation) --chi-yan
it's spelled Chiang
not sure how this happened.

English=Yeng.... [But they can't pronounce it so they say Yin or Ying).
Since my last name is Yang (Yaaj) and some call me Ying... they call me the good and evil sign.
So the ones that call me Ying sings the "Ying Yang and his thang" song every time they see me. By the Ying Yang Twins... very funny friends.

Grandma/Grandpa/Parents call me: Ja (Nsta) for short

Hmong name- Jaw or Jaw Po(cause our sponsors name is Paul and he gave me that name)....That's how the old folks pronounces John and Paul I guess. Oh and also Yaj.

I have a cousin(who's a girl). Her name's Michelle, but her parents spelled it Michael.
