LOL is it just me or is Emeryville like a limbo of Oakland and Berkeley? I moved from Southern state of doom and I'm lost as to what to do out here. I want to meet people while I'm here but I'm not a big bar person. So any suggestions would be more than welcome!

I moved here for school...I just switched from Sound Arts Major to a double major in English and Psychology so I can teach later...I'm totally in need of people to hang out with around this area...I'm just so shy in person hehe. But thank you for the sentiment; much appreciated. biggrin.gif

Where are you at? If it's okay to ask

Easier to meet people if you can get out of Emeryville. Downtown Berkeley should have lots of people roaming about. Visit coffee shops there and just strike up a conversation.

Too bad I moved to San Jose or I can introduce you to some people, depending what type of crowd you're comfortable with.

Outside the Bay Area, they're known for Pixar.

Oi another Emeryville girl yay! I gotta say I'm not liking the dinky little town either and I come from a small place to. It is seriously hard to find people around here. I just recently started heading out to Berkeley and San Fran but I'm slightly shy so it's still a challenge lol. Oh well it's a fun experience! oh and hello other people in the bay ^^

Heya,
I am in Emeryville. I'm kinda surprised actually, it's such a small city to bump into people from the net mentioning. I just got laid off so I have plenty of time now, let me know if you want to hang out, have tea/ coffee, there are lots of places here.
