actually, if you can read alibata, it would be quite hard for you to read that because the letters that doesn't have inherent vowel aren't written anymore, they don't use the virama that the Spanish added in Alibata

example : (VanityKills)
mahal ko si Maureen

actually reads as "maha ku si maudii"

also note that both "da" and "ra" have the same letter... because it is interchangeable in most Philippine languages
and many said that "o" and "e" is not present in Philippine languages until the arrival of the Spanish, although I'm not sure with that.

yeah they explained why they cant give the results that i was expecting... i tried alot of phrases too like... "on frail wings of vanity and wax" which in turn returned alot of errors because other phonetics that the historic filipinos used in the alibata...

i decided to post it anyways cuz its the best that they can give...

actually, using it is pretty fun and easy to learn (i learned it some 3 years ago, i was 13)

but it needs to be improved...

yeah, but i'm sure lots of people who are lazy to learn it might object, IMO Alibata needs to be improved in order to be used in daily basis...

i suggest that they should study the Kavi system of consonants and used it in Alibata (tbh, i found that Kavi is more sophisticated than Alibata when i transliterated the Laguna Copperplate to Latin alphabet two years ago)

some teachers cant even teach proper english... what more if they will be teaching alibata! hahaha

Yes and I hope they will improve it first so that it can be used on a regular basis. I think Korea made it's own writing system out of the old chinese "alphabet. It would be great if we'll have our own writing system.
