Can anyone understand what's going on here?

All I get is that they met in the Congo.

The kids look really Korean...

I'm interested to find out what's going on.

Cool vid; i actually watched the whole thing.

They're talking about how they met in congo, mimi's life in korea, how they lost their first child in congo by malaria, how she wants to help her family back home, and so forth.

I wonder if her kids know her language. They seem to be more Korean than Congolese.

I wonder if she's part Korean herself...

Did you see the second one?

It seems her kids dont know anything but korean.
she was crying about her sister's death.

Yeah, she didn't seem as black as her relatives.
she probably has some dominant french genes or something from congo once being a french colony; im guessing.

I found this interesting show while watching the video posted by the OP.

Forced dating as they get handcuffed. At the end of few days dating handcuffed together, they have to decide if they want to continue to see each other, or they choose $1000 and get out of the relationship. What will they choose?

I am Korean and my wife is Japanese. We met through Internet while she was in Japan and I was in America. At first, I wasn''t interesting in Japanese girl cos, I thought they don't like Korean. My wife changed my perspective of Japanese. They are nice and warm people just like Korean. Many Japanese I met, interested in Korea but afraid to talk to us cos history issue. If you respect and understand their cultures, you can meet many good Japanese. :-)

-The market lady tried to speak in a different language (probably English) that I couldn't hear. Mimi told her to speak in Korean.

-The husband said that when she is angry she yells in French, Kongo, and Korean mixed together.

-He was in his 20s, adventurous, and wanted to start a new business in a country that was unknown to him. He opened a photo studio. That was where he saw Mimi who was kind and attractive. Mimi's first impression of her husband was that he was huge, had the eyes of a snake, and walked fast. Thus, she was afraid of him and refused to marry him at first. So he tried hard to convince her.

-Mimi joked that her daughter is like her. Both have a hot temper and are very picky.

-Mimi sewed a bag while she walked to the hospital. (Impressive). She went to see her son who got hit by a truck. The husband talked about being worried about their son.
Their son said that his own personality is like his father and that his appearance is like his mother.
Then Mimi said to her husband, "but your personality is very bad." She said that he was too loud.
The son said that that was how a man acts.
She said that when he gets married he should say "honey" instead of "give food".

-She goes to a school that teaches Korean. Over there, she takes care of the children while their mothers learn Korean. (All the mothers are from outside Korea).
A Vietnamese mother(Kim Jinny (I guess that's her Korean name)) came out to leave with her children. Mimi asked why. Jinny said that the teacher teached in English. (The teacher needed to teach in a language that she understood).
Mimi said that Jinny needs to learn Korean fast. When Mimi came to Korea for the first time, the only Korean she knew was "anyonghaseyo". It was very uncomfortable when she wanted to buy meat in the market.
In the next scene, we see Mimi babysit her Congolese friend's kids. The boy's name is Ibrahim. He cried because he missed his mom. Mimi said that her nephews/nieces don't have parents. She wants to take care of them but she can't because they are far away. She said that she takes care of the kids in Korea and that they're the same as her nephews/nieces.

-She was looking at a funeral from the internet. CJK explained about this.

-The next day, she went to a store. She sold a bag that she sewed. Thanks to her solid skill and her fresh personality, orders are increasing.

-(Next scene) Minji (the daughter) greets Gunoo (her brother) happily. The brother had come from the hospital. Mimi cooks Congolese food for Gunoo. She cooks a fish with tomato sauce. She said that cooking Congolese food reminds her of Congo and her relatives. The husband comes in late and Mimi gets mad.

Thanks for the translation!

It must be really hard for her. Probably gets homesick.

Very unique situation..
