I can't believe the Taj Mahal is still clean.

the king(shahjahan) who ordered the taj mahal to be made, cut off the hands of the the architect because he never wanted him to make anything more beautiful then this.
Shah Jahan was also a prejudiced ruler who hated Hindus and killed them by the thousands. In poetic justice he recieved the same fate from his son Aurungzeb (who also hated Hindus, not surprisingly) who imprisoned his father until death.
Even if the Taj mahal does look nice.....its nothing more than a monument to an evil man.

You are correct, it was made for his wife. My bad.
Aurungzeb was prejudiced and so was his father Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan was responsible for the murders of many Hindus and Sikhs.
Guys, everyone monument has a dirty past even the pyramids. Every monument is build on the blood and sweat of commoners. Taj Mahal has its share of dirty past, if it wasn't for that we wouldn't be seeing it, quite ironic isn't it!
