Malaysian female artists generally tend to dress much mor conservatively than her sisters in Indonesia, the Philippines or Thailand.

At least 80% of Malay women wear extensive head coverings. Thats why I preferred posting celebrity pics. These are all ordinary chics I managed to find so far.

I do not think this woman is a celebrity, but I thought she is quite pretty ~ so I decided to share these pics. She is modelling various designs for the kebaya, a traditional Malaysian outfit for women.

- It's hard to tell from the side.
- She looks slightly above average and has a "wild" look (i.e., the "party/clubbing girl" look).

- Urgh. Maybe she has some musical talent, but she is definitely not good looking.

- One of the better looking gals in this thread so far.


I do have to give most of them credit for keeping good figures (i.e., for being NOT fat.) However, that is the MINIMUM requirement for being considered as a beauty.

@ jareth_chong: Hmm, you do have an eye for spotting flaws here. I'm sure you'd be a good make-up artist, seriously. ^__~ So how is your standard of beauty? I hope it isn't plastic perfection style, though. But anyway, it's good to have someone commenting on the pics. ^__~


EDIT: It's actually a surprise to you that Gloria Ting can be a Miss Malaysia? It's pretty normal here. But perhaps it's different at your side.

Her nose appear flat because of excessive camera lightings from the front. Sazzy actually has a high nose bridge.

You know, from looking through all the photos posted, I have come to the conclusion that, in Malaysia, the immigrant Chinese beauties are much better looking than the native Malaysian beauties. And most of those Chinese-Malaysian beauties aren't that great either (when compared to East Asians from other places, like Korea, Japan or China.)

Anyway, are there any mixed Chinese-Malay beauties? Are they any better than just pure Chinese (or Malays)? I haven't seen any posted.
