Still found it to be one of the strongest anime ever. Things I have not saw since I saw it: such detailed and intense still clear plot, such a genius use time/per plot intensity, plot that is somehow serious, such continuous constant stable dive effect, such great but rare emotion trick still without psychology and freudism, discussion and dialog on morality things, one of the last masterpiece of non computer graphics, somehow outstanding "collective"/social component that still not touched buy movie/anime art at all, such choking reality projection on a futuristic non scifi theme, not scifi at all, but still about future and everything we associate with it, somehow great style, slice of our generation culture after all.
Still I it was been possible to film it even better to make it a true masterpiece. Although it was moslty commercial thing and looks like that commercial part choked all other: level of animation that was rought even for 9x and was alreadey superseeded multiple time even by commercial sector anime(however animation quality of intro and some of episodes could be rather rated perfect, but seems that high level of non computer animation hits production time and cost tought way so they decided to cut on it), roles was sounded well but still not by late teens, probably were none of anyhow professional voice actor of that age that time, dsiasterous lack of 3d sound effects, music action could be far more diverce, they could allow themselves psychology/freudism tricks a litle for less dry emotional atmosphere, more deep to these perfectly constant but not so deep dive effect, more emotional linking with personages becase there is none of even somehow linked personages, except the somehow "main" hero(and very dead and unlifely/unlively personages due these). However there exists strong coemotion with the Rivuys himself and whole crew of Rivuys, so these anime is famous for it social element.
Ahh. I want to get even a 1:1 rip of official dvd that is know to be very rare.
