Dream on, in this economic climate. (Anyone knows what is going on w/ the Intel Plant in central VN (?), supposely being the largest one in Asia? Are they still building it?)

On the other hand, the West may have good incentive to provide the Viets w/ an ultra modern space research center, right next door to China. embarassedlaugh.gif

The usual suspects. Again.

COOL! At this rate, in 100 years time, Vietnam will be the most advanced nation on Earth when other nations have migrated to other planets. laugh.gif

i dont see y not, even a cooperation between china-vietnam is likely in this case if we can move on and work more towards our common interest. but if vietnamnese is still hostile towards us then china shall take on vietnam anytime and this time the mighty china grew even stronger.

Investing and building up a space industry from satelite making to making rockets for launching etc will take several billion dollars; I doubt that Vietnam is willing to spend that much money in this industry anytime soon icon_neutral.gif

Intel plant is in South Vietnam and they are still building it. Intel has decided to close its plant in Phillipines and Malaysia to consolidate its operation in Vietnam. Not surprising because land lease, utility cost, and labor cost in Vietnam have to be lower than in those 2 countries
