Umm. thus far my adventures since last. I went to a bar. And some buff looking white guy hit on me. He asked me to give him my phone number. I decided to because my friend was there and she thought he was cute. And then he called me and asked me to have dinner with him. And then we went for some drinks. But I didn't like it because he kept trying to get me into his apartment. I had to flee. And he tried to kiss me. EW

And he wouldn't stop calling me even though I showed no signs of interest or pleasure. We only went on one date.


I tried online once at this free website, OK cupid.com. The guy there seemed nice enough but I was feeling friend vibes, not future life potential mate. He looked ok, but I wasn't attracted to him physically. I felt no spark and actually I was kind of bored on our date. I'm not saying I'm super interesting. I'm just saying you should clique and have some chemistry.

Sit down and think about what your interests are. Then join groups/ clubs that cater to thos interest. If you like to read call the nearest book store and find out what their book club hours are. If you like to game join local LAN parties. Take group lessons in something you find interesting.

How large is your circle of friends? And do you meet new people? Also do you have a lot of friends. I think the bigger your social network is the more options you have. The people I know who have more friends and more acquaintances generally tend to be in more relationships and are more likely to be in one period (admitedly some of these are the types of people who can't not be in a relationship whether there is chemistry or not). The ones I know who don't tend to not date as much or are in long term relationships with the same people for years.

friends usually tend to mean people you know (relatively) well and spend time with. I personally think that a friend is also someone who you trust, who will also check up on you if you're in trouble or offer condolences when in trouble, will offer unsolicited help, and is willing to tell you the truth even if it's unwelcome. A person I consider a friend is someone I can talk to about (almost) anything, have actually spent time with doing something, and is someone I can trust.

an acquaintance is someone you know less well (ie friend of a friend) or I suppose a 'casual friend'.

I can see why you have trouble finding a date...
