Did anyone see this new Dragon ball episode? Man it brings back so much good memories of my favorite anime.. the one that started it all for me. It was more comedy than action which isn't a bad thing.. Dragonball never gets old for me

It was good to see my favorite Z Warriors in a new production, but I was hoping for more overall - the whole thing felt like it was just tacked on to the series as an afterthought.

WOW....It's like Dragon Ball Z never ended after they defeated Buu. ....and it's like Dragon Ball GT never existed.....AWESOME. None of that wannabe hiphop intro stuff. And all my characters the way I like em' best....right after Buu. This is surprisingly not a disappointment. Unlike the live action movie will be.... -_-

I found a link of it
It's just an animated film, not a new Dragonball anime series

Well it was just one introductory episode...it wasn't suppose to be epic. I enjoyed it for what it was.

I think the older drawing is better

The older drawings were similar, just not as crisp and rich in color for the most part.

The style is the same, but it still doesn't look good as the old ones. Re-watch the Goku VS Frieza fight when he is SS1, there is a clear difference in that the older animation surpasses this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6C4eHKNS8I...feature=relatedI watched Freeza vs SS1 Goku in HD on YouTube. It looks like the old episodes are more sketchy with thicker character outlines (and more sketchy lines in general) whereas the newer series aims at a more fluid animation with more texture (even seen in 'normal' quality). I have to say judging them both side by side, the newer episodes do look nicer. The old episodes have a more illustrative stylistic look to them, a rougher look, that I don't mind.
Watch the older episodes and you'll notice they have a very bold outlining on the characters and the backgrounds are actually very loose and not very detailed. The new episodes have well thought out backgrounds and the bold outlining is totally gone giving the scenes a more naturalistic feel. There's also atmospheric perspective. They're really using new technology to their advantage.

I feel like a kid lol. I was browsing some of the Dragonball site, and read about some rumored new DB series called Dragonball AF. Seems like it's just a fan series.. but it does have a very interesting concept.

Dude, if I remember correctly it took Goku and Vegitta going like supersayian 3 with fusion to beats Sealed Majibuu. I thinks they gonna new new characters because Genjibuu in not vunlable to Goku and eat Vegitta for dinner and $hit.
