I expect that in this year 2009, there will be not many new projects arises, not due to the economics crisis but the ACTUAL CAMBODIAN STUPID INVESTMENT CRISIS.

LA... if you go to any "Borey", all you will see is: "Rent/Sale House, contact this F**King number!!!"

I mean, half of the Borey do have these signs... not these happen to all of the "Borey" in Cambodia.

The point Im saying is, the investment is turning to be "failure" now, because most of the houses were bought by the same group of person with the very exactly same purpose "To sell or rent them." Now, they meet each other, what is next? ITS STUCK there.

But, for this, I believe that in the next 5 years, all of them will be finally occupied.

I just got back from Cambodia a few days ago for winter break to visit my family. I am indeed impressed with much of the projects in my lovely hometown. icon_smile.gif

But the real estate market is bad. It's a good time to buy, but not a good time to sell.

RUMOURS:
42 Gold Tower: Lacks of technology to build. I heard this from my close relative, he said that they can not use the current technology to build the foundation - បុកគ្រិះ . I also have this kind of though from an early stage that the current size of the ground could not hold 42 stories building, which would be divided into two parts. Even one part doesnt fit into this current ground size.

Camko : I heard most people said that the project is stuck because of lacks of funds. Nothing much I know more. But I check and see they were still doing their jobs.
