Full Version: Why do we have both"Chinese Serious Talk"&"Taiwanes
Asia Finest Discussion Forum > Asian Culture > Chinese Chat > Chinese Serious Talk

Chinese& Taiwanese are from the same blood, and we have the same culture! Though there're some problems between C&T, is that necessary to divide a forum into two as "Chinese Chat" and "Taiwanese Chat"? China has 56 nations, why don't we type the rest of Chinese or other provinces on the website but Taiwan?

I dont know.....no opinion....but maybe this way at least some Taiwanese can still come and talk about some things, and besides, maybe it is more for Taiwan-related news, chats, issues, music, etc.

Many Taiwanese issues are unique enough that they need their own forum - there is a sufficient number of them, too - 46 pages. To have Chen Shui Bian and Ma Ying Jeou threads scattered among discussions of Shanghai and Hu Jintao and Mao Zedong would be way too messed up.

Why isn't Taiwan it's own forum? WTF?

You don't see Australian forums under British forums do you?

damn chinazis

The funny thing is , she poses the question as a sincere question. When in reality she just wants to make her point that Taiwan is part of China. Come on , we know it's a loaded question.

Because Taiwan is under the administration of a different Chinese government.

well shouldnt hong kong and macau have its own section too, because they are special adminstrative regions. i sort of agree with the author, mabye having a section for each provinces or areas isn't the best idea. But i think if Taiwan is important enough to have it's own sub-section under Chinese chat i think other important areas where there could be alot of discussion should also have one. Either that or mabye none of them should have their own section and we can keep it all in chinese chat or even we could just divide it into diffrent areas of discussion.

Look i am Chinese but your being a freak and asking stupid @$$ questions that even you know already.

Unless their are PLA soldiers walking down the streets of Taiwan it has its own chat.

Doesn't "Republic of China" pretty much mean you are "Chinese"?
