That's because it's alot harder to reply in Indonesian.
It's much easier to understand a language than to speak. If someone speaks indo to me, I usually reply in english. My indo isn't good enough to have a proper conversation (without feeling stupid).
Kenapa musti rasa stupid, indo gue juga payah bangettt tapi gue ngomong aja .. orang pada ketawa, peduli satan

2 kata2 suka kebalik2 who cares, you'll never learn till you try it.
I swear to god i have seen some funny things chinese people do when they come here fresh of the boat, I was at a grocery store right, there was this chinese guy come to the counter and say ... give you, give me,give you, give me, whilst the guy actions by moving his hand back and forward ... do you know what he was trying to buy ! a saw, for cutting wood .. i found out when he couldnt get his message across and another chinese person helped him out ... i swear this killlled me ! i had so much respect for him even though he just looked so silly !
I garantee after a year or so this guy give you, give me guy will be speaking english well enough to get around ... i guess you just gotta take this as an example and just do it also, thats what i do, now, im trying to learn chinese and i just straight out and ask in chinese at the restaurant and i get some looks some laughing whatever... bahhh peduli satan hehehe
