telling a colorblind person that sky, indigo or royal blue are different.

It's irrelevant, especially when we share the same physical features as Malays.

Yes, we both have 2 eyes, a nose, a mouth, a working bipedal legs, a manueverable arms and a very refined torso that chugs $hit all day and goes at a little hole at the back, luckily covered by two bumps. Yes we are all same.........though sizes are different along with color hues and stuff like that, then theres the little variations here and there :P

filipinos are a race of themselves even though one of their closest relatives are the ones that migrated back to africa,the merina of madagascar,yep the ancestors of merina,bajau,samal and barito are from the same area where mainstream pinoys originated before tehy differentiated from the former(there are still bajau or samal in visayas and they are known as abaknon)then pushed to borneo or sulu,yep people of borneo are the closest relatives of filipinos not the ami or the malays of malaysia and indonesia although amis are more closer to filipinos than that of the malays.
