After reading more posts, I've realized that filipinos are not of Ainu descent, but spanish. So this means that filipinos are bi-racial. Awesome, I've always wanted to refer to myself as a hapa. Now I can honestly say I am. Now don't say, it has to be half/half because bi-racial means two races, and us filipinos are two races, asian and spanish. So even if the spanish blood is only .01%, that is still SOMETHING. Wowowee, now I know how Keeanu Reeves (as well as other hapas out there) feels; not knowing or not really sure which race I truly belong to, but the bright side is, we get the best of both worlds.
Now that you realized that you're bi-racial, do you guys plan on hanging out with asians (such as chinese, koreans, japanese, etc.), spanish people, or fellow hapas?
No. It's not .01%. The European blood in Filipinos lies at
3.6-4% Alternatively:
20% of Filipinos have Chinese admixture,
11.7-15% of Filipinos have Latino blood,
5% Have Genes from the Indian Subcontinent and
2% have Arab blood. The rest: about 70% of the entire population are pure Malays belonging to various distinct ethnic groups. Although there are gazillion known Philippine Malay ethnicities the most populous ones are:
Bicolano
Ibanag
Ilocano
Ivatan
Kapampangan
Moro
Pangasinense
Sambal
Tagalog
Visayan
There are also several aboriginal races peopling the Philippines including the: Badjao
Igorot, Lumad, Mangyan, Negrito groups and Palawan tribes
And were not Bi-Racial silly were
