Few things that help u identify different between Thai-Chinese and Chinese in Thailand.

Thai-Chinese make up 14% of overall Thailand's populations.

The ladder group of ethnic hardly integrate themselve into Thai culture and hence, made them felt isolation from Thai people.

Yea, Malaysian Chinese who isolate themselves from other natives in Malaysia are those who came in 19th C. They claim people hate them while they hate locals.

Too many of them, about 8 persons surrounding me, I have no choice but to buy and quickly leave before they kill me. Luckily I still had some money for bus fare. Even they hit the national authority who are doing daily check for tourists safety. I am sure Thai Chinese are better than those culprits. Those culprits hired bouncers from China, and I think they are mafias (hei gongsi). I advice Chinese people in Thai to embrace Thai culture as much as possible no matter what people said to you, also respecting Thai Monarchy and Theravada Buddhism. People won't hate you if you respect them, really. Don't be like 19th C Malaysian Chinese, mingle with native Thais just like your P Nong, and speak Thai and be proud of your Nation just like you do today. I don't hate Chinese, I know they are human-being too and I know there are Chinese people with good heart too. It is just experience that made us feel insecure when we deal with Chinese people.

Malaysia had three system of school education inherited from idiot British, National which is using Malay as medium, Chinese National type using Chinese in all the subject in primary level, and Tamil National type. You can see how different Malaysia and Thai Nation are.

But that's my word against Buffalove, I have never said "Isan whore, Lao whore" I just said "Lao-speaking garlee" to make him realized that he was insulting his ppl.
