Asian celebs d!cky Cheung and Zhang Qian married in Manila

Chinese celebrity couple d!cky Cheung and Zhang Qian held their wedding ceremony on 12 January 2009 at the 400-year-old San Agustin Church in Manila, Philippines.

The couple has been together for more than nine years. They first met while filming the TV series “The Legend of Chen Mengji” in 1999.

Popular TV hosts Dai Jun and Li Jing hosted the event; among the celebrity guests invited to the wedding ceremony were Andy Hui, Edmund Leung, Han Hong, Sammi Cheng, and William Soo. Over 200 guests were flown in mostly from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to this all-expenses-paid event.

Dressed in traditional outfit Barong at Saya, the couple had a pre-wedding photo shoot at the exclusive Club Punta Fuego in Batangas, a port city near Manila. Their outfits were provided by the Philippine Tourism Authority and were designed by a local designer using pina, a popular indigenous weave from pineapple fibers.

Here are some wedding photos courtesy of the event's official photographers Lito Sy and Jinky Sy of Xsight Photo.

San Agustin Church is the oldest surviving Catholic Cathedral in Asia. 200 years older than the any of the old Churches in the U.S.A and it arose like a phoenix against the devastation of 3 Manila fires. Held it's sway against the British invasion. And it defiantly withstood against 5 Earthquakes in 1645, 1754, 1852, 1863, and 1880 and is the only surviving Church structure in Intramuros after the Japanese and American bombardments of it during World War 2.

Nice choice! Lol. I'd like to be married in that church.

And those two look like a great couple. Xept the girl has white hair. Lol I hope it's not from old age.
