Depends on your needs really.

I haven't used the new macs. Last apple I used was whatever computers they had until 1996.

I don't have problems with PC. Mac has a large following now but PC are still standard overall for business, apps, games etc. I build my own computers so PC's are more customizable and I change out parts all the time. With Macs, Apple has you by the balls.

PC are more virus prone but for me AVG and Firefox are enough protection. Haven't gotten a virus in over 4 years. People literally must be downloading porno, illegal programs or something to get viruses.

I hear mac is great for graphic design/photo and other creative arts. Faster processing or something I dunno.

From the commercials and fanboy wars I'm guessing mac's OS is more noob friendly?

The mostly widely used is PC so I think it would be more convenient if you'll use a PC over a Mac.

imho... Mac is just over-hyped, over-priced piece of crap
