I'm experiencing *really long* delays of like 60 seconds, even when there isn't much traffic. Are you able to see this in your logs? I don't know what kind of hosting you're using. If you're on a shared host there could be problems in their setup.

It's making me double-post. I posted again because I thought the first one didn't work.

How often does this happen?

Thankfully it doesn't happen often. It's fast now. It was laggy when I made that post. A lot of the other forums are like this more often.

maybe 20% of the time it's like this. sometimes it gets stucks at "connecting to host", other times "waiting for reply". this happened just 10 minutes ago, but now it's fast.

Same thing just happened to me.
Now I got to delete the double posted poll topic I just made.

performance is definitely inconsistent. right now it's very slow even when very few people are online. many failed page loads.

I'm going to monitor the server more often.. Seems like we're getting hits but i don't think it's to the forum. might be from the main site.

The performance is getting very bad.....I experience a lot of times the instances where the pages can not load.....it is very intermittent.....

I think i found the problem.. One of my other sites that is hosted on the server had a glitch that caused the server to overload. After shutting down those sites, the server seems to be back to normal.

It was still laggy. I had to close and come back.

It's still very slow.

yeah.. hopefully when my techie finish working on the server, everything will be back to normal.

update: As of now, the server should be running at normal speed. Please let me know if it starts lagging again. If it does, that means the problem lies somewhere else.

Now is fast, at the moment.
