What does everyone think of Utada's Exodus album? Personally for me.. I'm not really feeling her new album as compare to her Japanese ones

After hearing this album, it sort of made me think twice about how Hikki was on my list as one of the most creative producers...

I respect her for trying to experiment a little bit but I think she should've saved the experimenting for a Japanese album and not an American.

not all of america has heard of hikki's japanese albums and besides this album was released mostly for american audiances. techno pop is DEAD in america, if you havent noticed only fat diehard anime fans listens to that kind of genre in the states. it closest counterpart was r&b and i respect her for that.
overall the album sucked.

It deleted it after about 2 listens. (But I wasn't a big Hikki fan to start with)
She's gonna flop big time and come back to Japan a miserable failure and her career will go downhill from there.

aw I feel bad for Hikki... her first American album and it comes out a flop.
I really did wanna see Hikki do good cause there's not a lot of asians that do good in the music industry over in the US... uh actually isn't there only Jin & South Star or is it Smiles
maybe BoA will have more luck if she decides to come over to the US

Hyori would do good in the US because she's pretty and she's hip-hop pop
BoA would need to totally redo her sound. Bubble Pop is dead in the US.

wells... exodus is just not what u call her greatest album. compared to the others', its down the drain [sorries if u like it, but its my opinion]. BUT SOME of the songs are kinda good like: Devil Inside & Exodus '04 < probably because I like the rockish beat. hmm... who knows...

that album is one of the worst things i ever heard... it sounds like a JUNGLE SONG!...like something walt disney would use for a soundtrack of TARZAN!.. most artist get better and better.. but i guess this is not the case. anyways.. i cant even bear to listen to the whole cd. >.<;;

About Hikki, I think this album is good but the texts are too monotonous if you know what I mean.

I didn't think that it was that bad. It was just alot different than her Japanese music. On her site, they say that 'Exodus 'o4' will be her new single, but it just seems weird to me because...this isn't 2004 any more. I think if she debuted with 'Exodus '04' rather than 'Easy Breezy', she would've received more publicity since in my opinion, 'Exodus '04' is alot better. Some of the songs are good, some are bad. I listen to every song except for two of them ('Animato' and 'You Make Me Want To Be A Man'). I think it takes awhile for the album to grow on people....But her Japanese music is MUCH better. No doubt about it.

Oww wow people really didnt like it, for me i would say it was one of the best alvums of last year.. I really really loved it soo much. I'm a big fan of her Japanese music too and yes alright this is different but i love it when Artists try somthing different. Too many just churn out the same old fomula. I would have to say that Cremlin Dusk would have to be my favorite.. the music is so very mm like nothing i have heard before, which I like.

The first time I heard it I wasn't that keen on it but the more I listened to it the more I loved it.
