Hey guys, mabuhay, I am curious, in the united states, we ask girls directly and they say yes, here girls seem to be a bit shy and think you are weirdo if you do that. so what is the best way to get a girlfriend in the philippines? mind you, I am half filipino, and I been living here for 12 years since my fiance brought me here, she broke up with me a few months back after 12 years... so I think i should start again, its been 5 months, she got a new boyfriend in 10 days, whoopdidoo....

You have to be a smooth operator here in the Philippines it is easy to get pinay girls you just have to know the technique.

Buy yourself a motorcycle in the Philippines because Pinays tend to get attracted to riders because it is like a phallic symbol if you own a motorcycle.

If you believe that, then you are playing into the illuminati's game (something that you would say).
It's better to do your own thing and not fall prey to what people think. The rich is what people aspire to be, unfortunately not everybody can pay for that aspiration.

It's not about appealing to the poor. You're starting to look for reasons to justify your remark.
You shouldn't play into the belief by spreading misinformation that motorcycles are for the poor just because some well to do poser said so.

Don't you know that there's a Ducati club of the Philippines. There's also a bunch of guys that tour the country in their expensive touring motorcyles and then theres the motorcycle club called Mad Dog Motorcylcle Club of the Philippines:

Baguio City hosts 15th National Motorcycle Convention this May
Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the Philippines will convene at Baguio City on May 8-10, 2009, to celebrate the 15th Annual Convention of the National Federation of Motorcycle Clubs of the Philippines. Under the theme “One Philippines” the three-day event seeks to harness the growing number of motorcycle riders in the country to promote road safety as well as a renewed sense of eco-consciousness and patriotism.

Recognizing the important role of motorcycles as a mode of transportation for millions of Filipinos, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has issued Proclamation Order 1720 declaring May 4-10, 2009, as Philippine Motorcyclists Week. The proclamation also directed the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) to coordinate the observance of Philippine Motorcyclists Week.

Under the leadership of national president Reynaldo Berroya, the 15th National Convention of the National Federation of Motorcycle Clubs kicks off on May 8, 2009, with a Unity Ride for the Environment, which seeks to gather the largest number of motorcycle riders in an unbroken motorcade from Metro Manila to Clark Field, Pampanga, to generate funds for tree-planting and other environmental activities.

Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is expected to flag off this historic ride, which will bring together motorcycle clubs and enthusiasts from all walks of life and from all over the country.

The 15th National Convention, with the theme “One Philippines” will be held at the Baguio Convention Center from May 8-10. About 1,500 delegates representing the federation’s member-clubs from all over the country are expected to attend. With Baguio City celebrating its centennial year, Mayor Reynaldo Bautista will be extending the city’s hospitality as the convention host city.

The host clubs for the National Motorcycle Convention are Lawin Motorcyclists Club, under the leadership of Reynaldo Berroya, and the Vigan Heritage Club with Bonito Singson as president. Gen. Fernando Pace is the organizing committee chairman for the convention while Bobby Fariñas heads the Unity Ride organizing committee.

The Motorcycle Philippine Federation led by Jojo Medina and Atoy Santa Cruz have committed support for the Unity Ride for the Environment. Sponsors include Castrol (BP Philippines), Motolite, Total/Elf, West Eagle, Access Plus, Stradcom, Dan’s Bike Shop, Destiny Cargo, Sting Energy Drink, MotoSpray. Media partners include The Philippine Star, Gadgets Magazine, Inside Racing Magazine, Mo2rista Magazine, Motorcycle Magazine, Scooterista Magazine, Clickthecity.com, Yehey.com, 103.5 Max FM, NU 107 and Wave 89.1.

mg bola ka ng mg bola tapos mg bola kapa tapos punta ka sa angeles city or sa manila mg bola ka ng pok-pok, its funny when you say motor cycles because when i went to the islands for vacation they had what we call mopeds, but its all relative i only saw one r6 and that was the nicest bike there. it doesnt make sense to ride one of the bigger sport bikes anyway to many CCs and a majority of filipinos arent tall enough, like me icon_smile.gif

It's funny how you say that the bigger bikes don't exist in the Philippines as if Filipinos are not suppose to own bikes with bigger CCs. You ONLY vacationed and now you're an expert? You ONLY went to Angeles and Manila and in the amount of time that you spent vacationing you conclude that i'm bull$hitting you. Click on the links that i gave you, that's if you know how.

You're letting your superiority complex judge for you because you can't stand it when others who are from a "third world" status country have things that equal or supercede what you might have.

My boss who owns one of the biggest IT company in the Philippines rides a motorcycle to work.

Did you know that the favorite pastime of Filipinos rich or poor is watching and racing mopeds?

Stereopuddings
Pinays in the philippines are a lil more conservative, so do not expect any girls to agree to get a cuppa coffee and such the first time you approach 'em. Try to be friends them at first then slowly move forward to courtship with the occasional boquet of flower-giving and a movie, a dinner, a walk down manila bay, something corny like that. Pinays are not hard to please, you just have to pay attention to them and show that you care. And no, you don't need a motorcycle to score points. You just gotta have a good head in your shoulder... meaning don't go into a relationship with sex in mind, just take it easy, take it slow, and have fun. icon_smile.gif

O no I'm sorry if I came off as if I thought you were bull$hitting of course. I know there are exceptions and rules when it comes to people who own bikes with higher CCs in the Philippines as with anything in life. I by no means care if people have nicer things than me especially in the third world, in facts its nice to know that they do. Of course I believe you, but its my belief that having a sport bike in a densely populated area such as Manila or Angles City just wouldn't be that advantageous. The traffic is too dense and it would be near impossible to reach top speed in those metro areas, the weather however is more than ideally suited for owning a bike like that. Taking one out for a spin on the highways though is a different story. I just noticed the mopeds and such and the ratio as to which they appeared when on the road when compared to bigger bikes. Of course they exist in the Philippines I would be stupid to believe they didn't. It was just an interesting observation that most bikes parked in lots and people were using as means for regular travel were not of higher CCs.

They are called Mopeds in European countries and they are called Underbones in Southeast Asia. Underbones are actually motorcycles not scooters which many percieve. Underbones are not only means of transportation in the Philippines they are also a lifestyle and sub culture.

QUOTE
Underbones are very popular in South East Asia. There is a healthy demand for aftermarket and tuner parts. Many enthusiasts modify their underbones either for show (such as installing small sound systems, neon lights and custom paint jobs) or for performance (like increasing the engine power and fine tuning the suspension). Riding gear may not even extend to wearing shoes and long pants for safety. Illegal underbone drag racing has become popular in countries such as the Philippines, and poses safety issues for the commuting public as well as the riders themselves, as underbones offer little protection in the event of crashes. The most popular underbone for these purposes is the Honda XRM and the Honda Wave, although similar models from Kawasaki and Yamaha are also frequently used.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underbone

The fastest underbone on earth is the Raider 150 which is classified a hyper underbone and it can beat a 400cc class bike on the race track.

Raider 150

Many underbones are also designed and manufactured in the Philippines like the Honda XRM, Honda Bravo, Kawasaki Fury, Suzuki Raider J, MCX Raptor, etc...

If you notice in motorcycle parking lots in the Philippines approx 99% of the bikes parked there are underbones.
