One of the biggest mistakes that has been made recently was the privatization of Mongolia. Now foreigners, who do not hold the best interests of Mongolia, are exploiting the situation by buying up everything. It is not the Mongolians peoples fault, it was the former Socialist/Communist Government who either did not know how to manage the economy (Print Money) or sold out to foreign interests/advisers.

Thankfully, the damage was done not to long ago and there is still time to recover from this huge sell-out of the country of Mongolia.

What we need is a Government for Mongolians and by Mongolians. Our interests have to come first, Ownership of ALL bussinesses (Mining, Farming, Tourism, ect..) need to be put into Mongolian hands and not foreigners who have nothing in common with Mongolia or it's people, and wish to exploit cheap labor. China already has implemented a system close to this by having all Bussinesses owned and operated by atleast %51 percent Chinese Citizens. Meaning no Bussiness is allowed to have less than %51 of the ownership outside of the country.

This system has worked economic and social wonders for China and should be adopted by the Govt. of Mongolia to ensure we are not working as slave labor for private interests that have STOLEN the land from under our feet because of corrupt/ignorant Government.

Nationalists walk the slippery edge of the dagger, one that on the dagger's edge is the title of racist.

Watch your f--king step, nonetheless nationalists have their uses. However, NAZI MONGOLS is a F--KING EMBRASSMENT! Remember our culture, who were once were. F--k the world's views of race. Seriously raise the nine bands! Raise the flag of Chingghis' Khan's gerflacon! Raise the flag of all Mongol nations under eternal blue sky! But raising the flag of the BUDDHIST symbol swastika and we will only show the world we are being manipulated already.

I agree with you. You need a government by Mongolians and for Mongolians. No foreigners are going to really care about Mongolia. They care about themselves and hopefully your own people will do right so you don't end up like we are now in America where only the greedy win out at the expense of the rest of the people and the country.

Are you suggesting returning to communism? It's just as corruptable, note also that democracy despite its corruption is useful for politics and diplomacy as well. What Mongolians need is both able businesses as well as patriotism as subtle as "Support our country, buy 'Made in Mongolia' stuff"

I didn't say go to communism. I've never been a communist. I'm just saying don't let outsiders control your country. Control your country your self. Yes, and I'm looking forward to buying "Made in Mongolia" in the neighbourhood Walmart.

Mongolia is a country surrounded by two economic powers, and outnumbered over 1000 to 1. It is landlocked, but with rich resources that foreign companies are hoping to attain. Mongol culture gives our people much to fight for, but our situation gives us too little power to fight with. Money is power, there are Mongolians who are refraining from an easy-going lifestyle and focusing on their studies in the business world. I would call these people - the true patriots.

Yes, and some of these are my Mongolian friends going into business. I hope your country will be able to sell the uranium and make your own reactors for electricity. I hope you can avoid being exploited by other countries. I've seen America do this to the Native american lands where they took and gave not back and I've seen America do this with other countries. So may you sell your resouces to us yankies and keep your own autonomy, culture, language, etc. Like I've said before. I just want to see Mongolia controlling Mongolia's destiny. I don't want to see Mongolia being a puppet state to any other country.

Yes, money is necessary but sometimes money is corrupting too. And sometimes people lose all since of self in the pursuit of money. I think it needs to strike a ballance. May Mongolia strike a perfect balance and prosper in every way. You are new to this particular chat i think. I've been telling Mongolians here for months how I was waiting for Made In Mongolia products. How I wanted to see them take some of China's trade away and get it from America. China has enough trade it is okay for them to share some.

I understand the uneasiness of being between two massive super powers and land locked. But us having the mighty seas between us didn't stop 9/11 from happening and the two mighty seas didn't stop us from going into a depression. And even though Mongolia is land locked between two massive giants you still have held your own. Purhaps looking at the circumstances between my country and yours, purhaps you are the stronger for you have had less with more stress and survived. We have more than the rest of the world and still we faulter. And even though we have all this power, money, etc. we still have unrest and an inability to get things the way we want in the world. Oh, just look at Afganistan and Iraq not to mention we are still in other countries not mentioned these days on the news and we haven't been able to make them do what we want.

You can not understand where I come from because you do not understand how the Udha works in me.

I wish nothing but the best for Mongolia and Mongolia's people. I truely believe like my teacher Sarangerel Odigon had said that Mongolia will rise up a power again uniting the world.

Money is power, and power corrupts. It all comes down to balance as you said; Mongolia can have the finest businessmen but without patriotism Mongolians will end up selling themselves out. At the same time Mongolians can have patriotism but without able businessmen our people will not find the power to even defend our country.

Mongolia rising up as a power and uniting the world? Heh, realisticly, our goal now is survival. We can't even unite ourselves. This is for all Turanian states, our real future lies in our spirituality and culture, our culture is one that allowed me to remain unassimilated despite being born and raised in a foreign country. The more the world becomes racist, perverted, and divided - the more chance we have of unity - as long as we hold true to our ways despite the circumstances.
