divorce is not allowed throughout the philippines, not because of the "shame" it will bring upon a family but because it is a majority catholic country. the people wouldn't mind it but the church doesn't want it.

i expect her to start hitting you up for tuition/fees for nursing review classes/tutorials/tests pretty soon. alot of people think her intentions are not so honest because she happens to be a nurse in a country where many if not all nurses hope to work in the states after graduating.

and it just so happens the visas that nurses need to enter the states have not been available for almost 2 years. in the mean time the visa applications have been accumulating and accumulating so it may be 4, 5, 6 years or even longer before a nurse finally gets her visa. much longer if they are at the end of the backlog. a fiancee visa is a much quicker route and can get her here in 10 months.

and finally, another thing to keep in perspective is that a fast food employee in the states can make in 2 days what a nurse in the philippines makes in a month. if a nurse from the philippines gets to the states they have hit the jackpot.

she has an aunt that's married to a kano, they live out side of manila.
she also has a pinoy uncle that lives in Hawii
so why is she going to hit me up for cash??
from what i understand her uncle is "loaded"
