I can have all of those here. No problem finding authentic ramenya and izakaya at all.

First thing that comes to my mind is walking in the streets at night and feeling perfectly safe.
That is what I miss about Japan.

I once had the privilege of eating ramen in a cafe tucked away down a Sapporo back street. This was in the middle of winter so it was snowing outside... it was pure bliss.
