Elson Soh (苏奕铨) - 20 years old; 176 cm in height; 68 kg in weight; was uncovered by his manager in the year 2005 and was signed immediately as M5 Royal Music’s first artiste. Elson has a special and unique tone to his voice as well as a style on his own towards his singing and music.

After years of intensive training, with much credit to his own manager, as well as guidance from many other top notch professionals, Elson has grown and improved tremendously. His growth gave his teachers, sponsors and media the confidence that he is the next male artiste to look out for.

In 2006, Elson released his first Single, titled 祝你幸福. The soft ballad moved many and it slowly captured the hearts of people through the song’s lyrics. Despite his hectic army life, which unfortunately also did not allow him much time for friends and family, his second Single 了解, is a precise reflection of his innermost thoughts. As a result, Elson had dedicated every ounce of effort and every shred of emotion to the personal crafting of this song.

With a dream since young, Elson’s passion in music began when he was 14 years old, where he started picking up instruments, like the guitar and the piano. Elson never stopped pursuing the knowledge quest and his musical talent is very much acknowledged by his supporters, music talents and the radio DJs themselves.

His Dream

From his school days till army days, our homegrown singer-songwriter Elson Soh always believe in his own dream and hoping that one day he can bring proud and honor to Singapore and his family. One of his common statements to his friends is: “if you have a dream, just work hard and you will get it one day. If you give up now, you might regret when you get older”.

Elson’s passion in music have touches the heart of many music lovers and youngsters. On the side note, he is always ready to share his knowledge of music with other people, though the humble him often felt he wasn’t good enough. Elson always felt that he should teach everyone the best. “I’m still learning and very raw lah.” he said. Thus, he never stops learning.

This homegrown singer-songwriter, the next rising artiste in Singapore, hope that one day he can stand on the NDP stage, presenting his voice to all the Singaporean. He hopes to share his dream, his achievement, his contribution and his happiness with all the Singaporean.
