The Nine Commentaries On the Communist Party (the Nine Commentaries) has initiated a tidal wave of withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) since it's introduction on November 18, 2004. More than 13 million Chinese people have publicly announced their withdrawals from the CCP and it's related organizations through The Epoch Times website over the past two years. Not even the internet blockade has been able to stop people from posting their withdrawal statements. Many go so far as to put them on bulletin boards, license plates, telephone poles, and advertisement columns.

Information on the Nine Commentaries and on withdrawing from the CCP can be found just about anywhere. Truth clarifying DVDs, booklets, pamphlets, posters, and even banners can be found frequently occupying space at governmental agencies, National People's Congress, parks, tourist sites, work places, educational institutions, hospitals, stores, along the streets and in residential areas. Sometimes these materials last for several months to a year before they are removed.

Gao Dawei, spokesperson for the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP said, "The emergence of resignations and slogans in large quantities goes to show that quitting the CCP has become a reality, has broken free of the CCP's information blockade and has removed the inner fears of the Chinese people. It is certain that the wave of resignations around China will help more Chinese people realize the vile nature of the CCP, reexamine their own pasts and futures and dare to envision a new China. Those who speak out against communism are the hope of China."

Interesting topic.
2 months ago, When i was in China, none of the Chinese in China seem interested in politics at all. They were more interested in their everyday lives. I was even talking to a lady who ran a newspaper stand at a street corner in Shenzhen, i asked her how much she pays for rent. she told me. She paid 2500 yen to the government official who claims he owned the streets. She said the government is the black gangster in China. She complained that she can't even make a living.
I all the chinese I talked to in china. They all have complains against the CCP one thing or another.
Today, the chinese in China can openly complain about their government, which is good step forward in China becoming a more open society.
moonrocket
if she thinks she's being blackmailed, just go to the tax agency and ask what tax she should be paying.
mostly she's just paying the standard license fee.
it's her own ignorance that's the problem. many chinese will complain about whatever they dont like as "corruption", when they don't bother to find out what is legitimate governance and administration.

yes, correction. It is RMB and not yen. my mistake.
In China, and Asian countries, even Japan. You can apply for whatever license or tax forms, But, on top of that you still have to pay the local gangster who says they own that block, or else they will simply remove your newspaper stand.
the local gangster in shenzhen wears official government green uniform. What can she do??!! Not much, i'm afraid.
And if you don't believe me, then just for fun, go ahead and set up a lemonade stand in Shenzhen and soon within a few hours you will see, who will be coming to knock on your stand demanding money.

how much chinese did they say were quitting the ccp again? was it 13 million, 100 million or 600 billion? it changes with the wind

conitnue,
for truthdoesn'thurt, since you are not educated enough to make any comments here, the you need to sit down and shut up, and hide in your imaginery world.
my argument still stands. Anyone can open up any street stand anywhere in china, within hours there will be thugs dress in green uniform asking for money. It does not matter how many permits or license you have register with in China. If you are too naive to and want to continue to play stupid, that is your choice. But I challenge any of you to go try and open a small stand in China.

I challenge you to open a small stand anywhere in Iraq or Afghanistan. No government in this globe is perfect. Not even the US.

The corruption problem is well founded and well documented in China. Every idiots in China know a thing or 2. Going on AF and paint a one sided story on how the CCP is all mighty and evil just show how stupid you are. The facts of the matter are that the CCP do a combination of goods and evil. Economic development, improvement on living standard, impressive character when dealing with foreign powers are all things the Chinese approve of.

Therefore, your overall argument of anti-CCP in China is only half truths. The full picture is that people hate and love their government. How long will the CCP last? That depends how well do the CCP address their weakness. I would not be surprise if they lasted for 500 more years or just 50 years. It all depends on how they reform.
moonrocket
look, if you're paying "protection money" in china, that's because you're trying to do business where it's not allowed. It's their corruption, and yours too.

CCP is only half of the corruption in China. The other part is YOU.

If you have a legitimate permit in a legitimate business, watch how fast your extortioner will get arrested. why don't you listen to some westerners compare the extortion in russia versus china.

Like I said, even an idiot knows about the "corruption" that you talk about. Do you actually feel superior repeating what people already know? Russia is corrupted, China is probably as corrupted. There is no argument. What makes me laugh is that you tend to put all your eggs on this corruption argument, and try to paint a conclusion that the CCP is all bad. I just want to say that's a stupid argument and a stupid conclusion. Any idiots should have no problem looking at the economic development in China today and say thats a good thing. Who wants to live as a poor man or woman? Any idiots should be able to look at other major powers and find corruptions too, even in the US. What is gitmo? Why are there illegal wars and occupations?

Therefore, we as independent should always seek a neutral and unbiased critics of today's government. CCP is corrupted. They are hated. But they still hold legitimacy in their rules and they are still ever evolving. Like I said, with the majority support of the Chinese people, the CCP can last 500 or 50 years. It all depends how they choice to reform and at what pace. Cherry picking the bad side of the CCP is for white nationalist and western media only. I expect more from an intellectual independent such as yourself.
