I'm seriously considering heading out and teaching english in Japan. The only thing though thats holding me back is my religion. I'm not familiar with Japanese law and haven't really had much luck finding anything online either.

Being jewish my fridays are essentially the 'short' day of the week depending on the time of the year. So I'd have to consistently leave early on fridays and I don't really know how well that would go over with their public school system. Anyone have any ideas on how the law works there regarding this?
I know that in the states they give me off no problem but not so sure how it would work in japan.

Anyways, many thanks in advance.
