Little boy molester is dead. That's what I'll remember him for.
Oyabun
now the little children will be safe...I wonder how many little boys will be at his funeral.

Meh, he was never found guilty. All I can say is he's made some good music. His 80's songs will never get old. Everytime I hear Billie Jean or Thriller on the radio, I always turn it up. Grew up in the 80's so, I guess I'm a little different than most teeny boppers in here :P
Oyabun
lol oh I'm an 80s child too..I just find the fact that he touched kids and was fu-ked up hilarious.....

Whether you liked him or hated him you have to agree that Michael Jackson molested a lot of children

I felt the loss of Heath Ledger but when I heard about Michael Jackson, I felt indifferent. Just not a fan I guess.

The true fans are the ones who was born in the 60s, 70s, and early 80s. I just did a blog tribute to him http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/blog/ben/i...?showentry=1070

He will be missed.

He's not really dead. He just went into hiding with Elvis.

RIP MJ. For years to come, he'll take his place alongside Elvis as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century.

Yes, it's been one hell of a week. It was my mum's birthday on the 20th, there was an arson attack on my neighbour's house on the 21st, my mate's uncle died on the 22nd, Ed McMahon died on the 23rd, it was my birthday on the 24th, one of my neighbours died on the 25th, and both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died on the 25th.

It's not a fact. It's just something you've forced yourself to believe, despite the contrary fact that MJ was declared innocent by a court of law.

I remember being in a Turkish inn, somewhere in the remote Mt Ararat region near the border with Iran, and the waiters looking after my student group all had moptops and 60s style suits.
Despite their resemblance to the Fab Four, they had never heard of The Beatles, but they knew all about Michael Jackson.

Now you can add Billy Mays to that list....RIP.

mixed thoughts towards the guy: I love his music and still do, im praying that it wasnt his real kid he dangled out of the hotel window in Germany, im also disgusted that he shut the family who filed a law suit against him for mollesting their son with an out of cort settlement.
There is alot of mystery surrounding his demise though, apparently it took 40-50min for health services to actually be contacted. Mj's personal physicial was in the house at the time of death as well. His wife, if memory serves, would have Mj's stomach pumped after he binged on pills...
Whats stranger is that he practiced for his 02 gigs and went through the song set list without a break, water or anything. Really, it sounds like this will end up like Elvis Presley. 20 years from now people will be swearing they saw MJ in the super-market or down in Block Busters or in the Cinema with his children.

In any case he is going to be greatly missed icon_sad.gif
RIP

Yeah, people will still be talking about him for years, although I still maintain he was more gimmick than substance.
Maybe somebody will make a movie about him, à la Bubba Ho-Tep.

And you believe that I believed he was innocent? I was only stating the fact that the court declared him innocent, not my own opinion. Sorry to hear you lack the ability to differentiate between a fact and opinion.

Exactly. Yet more major celebrity deaths all within the span of a week. What's going on here?

Have backpack, will travel.
You know me.... I like adventure.
I was there with Photography Studies College in 1989.
Those Turkish dudes really did look like The Beatles, except that they had four Pauls, three Ringos, two Georges and one John (which perhaps goes to prove that John was a rare dude). laugh.gif
I got some Beatles stuff, but I never bought any Michael Jackson music.
Hey man, I'm a child of the 60s, grew up with a love for freewheeling rock'n'roll, a student of the punk generation, with a resentment for the conservative establishment, until I got older and found that I had become part of the establishment myself,
and the revolution never happened, angry hippy youth did not have all the answers, and we all got to make the best of our short lives and hopefully add some wisdom to the Human condition.
So if Michael Jackson inspires you, then great.
However to me, Thriller marked his demise, and he increasingly exhibited weirdness and represented the glitzy schtick of showbiz excess that I detest.
As for the man himself, I am sad that he died on such a low note and so young.
