I think the Japanese, especially the girls, are the most beautiful in the world. I don't like caucasians that much. I even find a lot of asians better looking than caucasians.

I'm not sure if its just a case of marketing because Japan obviously has a very advanced and modern culture and can probably market themselves more attractively.

but to my taste, I just find Japanese to have better complexion and skin. They are kind of "shiu qi." Their skin tone is paler and that brings out the intensity of the dark eyes and hair more. What's more, they just seem more homogenous. All Japanese have something similiar looking about them that is distinctly Japanese.

Chinese people are beautiful too but they vary quite a bit. The ones in the countryside are for the most part nasty. Some city people are good looking but usually the ones who are paler.

I don't know what it is about the Japanese though. They just have that look that looks very "pure" and nice looking.

I also don't usually find caucasian females attractive. They have to look a certain way in order for me to like them. I'm up for all races but from what i've observed about myself over the years, caucasian girls are the ones I find least attractive. When it comes to the Asian variety however, I find Southeast Asian girls to be the most attractive. Like I stated..taste.

Well, the story is untrue. The "sick" emperor you speak of is Qin Shihuang, one of the greatest emperors in Chinese history. He did send people out to the ocean to search for medicine. The captain, Xu Fu, accidently landed onto what is now called Japan and never came back. HOWEVER, Japanese population consists of mainly archaic Mongolids who invaded the archipelago in prehistorical time, and polynesian natives. These few thousand Chinese wouldn't affect the gene pool significantly.

Japanese girls are more commercialized, so we actually do see them more. But there are many "drop-dead" beauties from China, and Korea.

When I was younger, I always thought Caucasian girls to be prettier than the Asian ones (thanks to the stupid media and whatnot). But now, I actually find Asian girls to be prettier. Their beauty lasts longer.

Detuned, I think you're being too influenced by the Japanese media. I would agree that some of the celebrities are gorgeous, but the Japanese girls I came across tends to vary, most of them doesn't look anything like the celebrity type. Then again you might have different taste.

The reason why country girls are not attractive is probably because they don't put much effort dressing themselves up, in comparison to girls in the cities. But it doesn't mean they're all naturally ugly.

i believe it has alot to do with how a person dresses and since the japanese are considered to be more stylish than other asians by many (and strange by others), they are thought to be more beautiful
to be honest, i think people are looking more at the makeup and clothes than the actual face 'cause last time i went to japan...i admit the girls weren't so great
and when i hang in the city here in sydney, most of the japanese girls i come across aren't very attractive
sure, their clothes were cute and such, but as for facial features, they weren't...good is all i can say haha

Well, I do agree a bit with what you've said. Korean pop singers generally lip-sync when they do "live" shows - usually at award ceremonies. I used to like K-Pop, but then I got sick of it because it seemed so shallow and one-dimensional. I guess maybe many Korean artists seem to place dance moves at a higher priority than live vocals.

As for Japanese ones, I really don't recall having seen many lip-sync at all. Maybe it's because they tend to do less dancing, since they focus far more on rock music than bubblegum kiddie pop. I know for sure that Ayumi Hamasaki has always sang live. And Misia has the most amazing voice in the industry. Her voice is what makes her so awesome.

I agree than many Hong Kong artists tend to sing live. Jackie Cheung will be happy enough to belt you one of his ballads just to get a chance to show off his awesome voice. But then again, the quality of vocals from newer HK singers have been so weak and embarrasing, I'd much prefer to see them do what many Korean artists do and mime to a back-up tape because I don't pay to see people sing karaoke on stage

And your percentage of lip sync is so off. I've seen more K-singers sing live than lip sync. You should see more of SBS Inki Ga.yo (means popular music), Music Tank, Music Bank, and so on.
