The only anime I've been watching that was created this year is Dragonball Kai which is a remake of Dragonball Z except its more based on the manga and is more fast paced

How can you people forget about One PIece anime? It's currently the best anime in Japan and many parts of the world. To a lesser degree, Case Closed: Detective Conan is also very good anime for those who are interested to watch detective story.
