Hey All,
My uncle is having a retirement party in September and its supposed to be a really really big one. I'd really like to turn heads when I walk through the doors in traditional Thai clothing because none of my family has ever seen me wearing Thai clothing. The thing is I'm not too familiar with Thai clothing styles and I don't want to ask my family for help because I would really like it to be a surprise to everyone. I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me a little about the different styles

Anyways I stumbled upon phahurat.com and found these two outfits that I absolutely adore. The things I like most about this site are the good prices. Outfits like these were way too overpriced when I went to check the stores in Minnestota.

First Choice


I really like this one but I'm just wondering if it will be too formal and wedding-like. However, the retirement party is going to be a formal one with over 500 people attending.

Second Choice


This one is really nice too and if I end up getting this one I'd get the light pink one. It doesn't look as formal as my first choice but the only thing I don't really like about this one is the shawl. I'm thinking that I should probably buy a jewelry set, arm ornament, hair pin, and belt as well so I'll have the whole set to wear with the outfit I choose.

I like the pink one. I think it look like which Nok SinJai(The middle girl in picture) wear.

I like the pink one ,the white one look like a wedding dress. The yellow and purple is also look good

I like the second choice (light pink) one but dislike the shawl too.

I like the first choice.

Thai women in Thai dress all are beautiful. they should wear Thai dress all the time.
