I dont think this will work couples who have arranged marriages will be pressured in to having kids by parents or in-laws but this will probably target lower class people who are in need for money

obviously the population growth of india is going to slow down.
the population is no longer sex crazed because porn and stuff like that has become normal.
as the population becomes better at handling their sexual urges and becomes more interested in other stuff, the population growth rate declines and when the population rate slows down development increases.
that is what happened in all the european countries, japan, china etc.
its the same format

Theres hardly any Indian porn, and if there is they don't even look the least bit descent. Priya Rai is a small exception but even then she is not very good to look at with those massive jugs of hers.

A planned abstinence is not that practical. Sexual urges are very difficult to resist when a young couple are sleeping together. Use of birth control pills and condoms are the better tools to control births.
