I've been listening a lot to Ladytron and She Wants Revenge for several months now. It's got that dark rock with electronic tones and meaningful lyrics. I was wondering if there were any simialr bands anyone would suggest who also like these types of bands.

Sorry if this isn't exactly what you were looking for, I was just going off "dark," "electronic tones," and "meaningful lyrics," though whether or not any of these bands lyrics can be deemed meaningful is up to you as I normally don't pay attention to lyrics in the first place.

Yea I've been listening to Nine Inch Nails a lot as of late too. I dunno if I'm into the Japanese bands. Ministry sounds alright but they go off into more of a metal sound. I would group them with Orgy or Static X---which is more metal based.

So long as you can get past the language barrier you shouldn't have too much trouble with Buck-Tick. Some see them as an Asian version of The Cure, though they've been around for nearly as long. embarassedlaugh.gif And yeah, if you think Ministry sounded Metal back then, you should listen to them now. They basically evolved into an Industrial Thrash Metal band. rockon.gif

Yeah, The Knife is definitely what I would recommend as a response to Ladytron haha.

Dunno how related these are because I don't really like Ladytron and haven't gotten that into She Wants Revenge... These are "happier" bands I guess...

In Canada we have Dragonette and Crystal Castles but above all I'd recommend "numéro#". One of my favourite bands... I was gonna see them a few days ago but I was afraid they'd suck live so I saved myself the $20 haha.

Still, take a look pls: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46XeAZDnXp0

Try checking Ladytron's last.fm page too...

EDIT: Also maybe Goose (Belgium), Cazals (UK), La Roux (UK), We Are Terrorists (France) these bands might be too dumb for you though ahaha.

Thanks guys! I personally liked Fischerspooner and numero#. I'll be busy looking up songs now! Thanks.
