It reaches into the city of Fenghuang.

The remnants of our ancestors that fought Ming -- Qing still live near this wall.

Great wall of China? confused.gif
limabean
^, it's the southern wall of China that was built to block our ancestors from returning to the north.

It was recently discovered.

apparently people did.
My parents said that people long ago in China were tall, even the Miao ancestors, but they were all killed in battles.

I'm trying to upload a new one, but chinesecivilization will upload one documentary on the southern wall later. lol

This is VERY interesting. Thanks for showing this. I went and read a little about it and saw some youtube video clips. I can't believe I've never heard of it before. So it was a wall built to keep out mainly the Miao. This ancient Fenghuang city with a long bloody history contrasting it's present calmness today. The town looks beautiful and picturesque out of a fantasy movie.
limabean
Yes, the ancient city Fenghuang does look ghostly and beautiful.
Most Hmong elders talk about it, well my dad.

He always say,

"TUAG MUS TUAM CHOJ" and I guess it's true.

KojTusMeHavnim
The third picture is so freaking awesome!

I like how foggy the town is too. Looks haunting. Maybe it was just the dreamy video I watched with sweet music.
KojTusMeHavnim
Yeah, I love the fog. Places like that actually exist. When we were in Thailand visiting Hmong in the mountains, you can see clouds crawl over the village. You were LITERALLY IN THE CLOUDS. It was such a mythical feeling.

embarassedlaugh.gif you sure. id estimate the smaller one is around 6 ft, with 1ft long blade. a ratio of 1 to 6.

the blade itself on the BEAST looks 3 maybe 4 feet. following the same ratio, the BEAST is like 20 feet long. it looks the size of a fukn LAMP POST.

you are telling me, there were people big enough to wield a 20 foot METAL weapon, and still get killed in the olden times with no guns?

dont suppose there are any sources that can support this? embarassedlaugh.gif
