Some of my friends are planning on traveling to japan sometime in November this year. Seeing as how the plane tickets are not as expensive as I thought that they would be, I am considering joining them on the trip (it would be a shame not to go). The thing is, is that while I know a lot about asians, I am not one of these white asianophiles, and I am unsure of what exactly I'll do for a fortnight in that country. Last I heard, they are still looking for a better place to stay that wasn't too expensive or too far away from various locations.
I plan on getting some good photos of people and architecture, and hopefully having some fun with my friends at the various places to visit, but only one of us can talk Japanese at even a grade-schooler level. I suppose it will be a learning experience but perhaps I will take a look around before the trip on the internet anyway.
