^ Yeah, sometimes you can just fry an egg, pour a bit of soy sauce, and voila. ^_^
I know that instant (cup) noodles aren't necessarily healthy, but they really do come in handy a lot of the times. Just have to boil water. ^_^ Also, buy some canned foods (soup, stew, meat, etc.) and heat those up too. Microwave foods such as pizza pops are good too.
I'm so fu-king lazy. >_>

And the stuff I've listed are less healthy than everyone else's ideas so far. I'm sorry lol.

Buy Thai Ramen noddle packages ( about 3 for $1.00 ) many flavors and companies to choose from.
open the package and eat.
its fully cooked and seasoned.
Later, put the soup package contents into a coffee mug and pour boiling water. Free cup of soup!

egg-fried rice. Doesn't take too long, is easy, not too unhealthy, and you basically just need boiled rice and egg.
Also try pimping up cheap frozen pizza. I remember how my roommates and I would buy basic pizza with cheese and meat and spice up with Oregano, veggies and mushrooms. It was quicker than making a pizza from scratch and cheaper than ordering.

I eat slices of sashimi with ginger diped in wasabi sauce with rice. Sashimi is not that hard to swallow and eat because fresh sashimi should be soft with a lot of flavour.
Rice is cheap, and if you buy the cheapest fish fillet they dont cost that much at all.

Well seeing how your in Vegas, Iam guessing its gonna be hard for you to find cheap fish fillet, because vegas is a desert.
Dont get the really good fish fillets, try finding the ones that are around 7 buccs a pound. Get a really sharp knife made for cutting fish, slice the sashimi really thin.
12 buccs gets you what 3-4 big mac meals? 1 pound of fish fillet should last you longer, well I dont know, you look like you could eat a lot so.

Now that rice somes prepackaged for simply microwaving, heat it up and add a packet of Chazuke.
Of course its cheaper if you have a rice cooker instead of going the instant route.

http://hubpages.com/hub/Easy_Thai_omelet_r...ute_Thai_recipeI am starving and that looks delicious and simple to make.
As other people have mentioned, a rice cooker is one indispensible kitchen item for students.
Another easy and cheap thing is the rice cream deserts that you can buy in the supermarket. Don't buy the expensive variety from the yoghurt section. Buy the cheap and equally yummy variety that is available in cans.

make sure you don't use plastics to cook your food in the microwave. use containers specifically made for microwave (sold cheap at stores like walmart) or use nonplastics.
also if you are eating cheap food and little fresh veggies or fruit with it, make sure you take a multivitamin daily. another help is just some quick shakes you can mix yourself, energy bars and especially V8 juice etc. i would make sure to have v8 juice if you are not eating properly.

The life of a student can be hell.
I remember trying to find cheap and easy food solutions to my budget problems when I was a student.
The rice cooker was a life-saver, but after paying the rent for my crappy flat near the university, there was hardly any money left for fruit, vegetables and meat.

Get one of those convection ovens (turbo ovens) that looks like a large glass bowl. You can cook anything and it comes out great. There is a timer on it so you can set it and forget it. Examples:
Roast Chicken
Roast Beef
Roast Pork
Roast fish
bread
Pies
roast corn
Heatup:
fish sticks
pot pies
burritos
french fries
taquitos
List goes on and on;
