i don't know....i really didn't like the fight.....maybe it's because anderson thought forrest wasn't trying.........it was odd fight........i like to see 2 fighters trying to kill each other ......there's no glove touching or giving your opponent the chance to get up in MMA............

Forrest is one of the most respectable and humble guy in the UFC. He was pretty much humiliated and ran out because of shame.

No argument from me here, it's obvious the striking in boxing is far superior to the striking in MMA. Silva is considered an MMA great in regards to striking, however he would get his clock cleaned against a top level boxer. Then again if it's an MMA match, Silva could use kicks, elbows, knees and the clinch.

c'mon.......roy jones is in his 40's now........however even in his prime i am not sure he can beat anderson in a boxing match .............anderson is huge ...probrably walks around 210lbs.......while jones is kinda small 180lbs max.....

Even now that hes pushin 40 hed still light up anderson. A prime RJJ boxing anderson it wouldnt even be a question.

A. He needs to get past Nate first and I don't think it'll happen
B. Assuming he does get by Nate, if he wants to even consider using his BJJ against Silva, he would have to close the distance which involves striking. This probably will not bode too well for him.

Yeah and? Wand is hardly an example of a great striker in MMA anyways and training with a great camp doesn't mean you'll become a great striker. The man's been training with Wand's camp for awhile now and he has shown very little improvement in his standup game. We'll see how he does against Nate first.

The guy to take out Silva will be on of:

1) one punch power house striker.
Silva's chin has never been tested.

2) BJJ leg lock specialist.
The only losses I'm aware are by leg locks.

3) A young Couture like G&Per.
So far, no one has taken him down and b!tched him with elbows. This has had devastating affects an all pride fighters entering UFC.

Majority of MMAers in the UFC have relatively poor striking abilities. A Former boxer and Muay Thai fighter like Anderson can handle most of these guys. And its easy for a natural striker to look good against wrestlers and grapplers in a striking match.

And also, when Forrest got KTFO by Jardine, he also ran out immediately after so its a Forrest Griffin thing. LOL

Mousasi is a friggin monster. I think he's only 23 - 25 yrs old as well. But the problem with him is he's connected to Fedor and Fedor's camp have issues with Dana White that's why he hasnt signed with the UFC even after many attempts by the UFC to acquire him.

I think Nate the Great just proved where Maia stands in the MW division.
